Certainly there are plenty of related peripherals, both authorized and unauthorized, for Air Jordan, though this might be one of the most unique ones. By combining two of his beloved labels, Apple and Jordan Brand, artist LavinPierre recreated Air Jordan XIII graphics onto his cases for the iPhone 5. But they aren’t just simple side profiles, instead LanvinPierre utilized the outsole of key editions. There is the Air Jordan XIII “Bred”, “Playoff”, “He Got Game”, even “Wheat”, and “Ray Allen”. They are be sure to be great conversation and trivial pieces during the next line-up.

After spending years acquiring the “other brothers” to superior NBA players (Taylor Griffin, Jarron Collins, Wesley Person, Robin Lopez), the Phoenix Suns traded a second-round pick for Marcus Morris, thus guaranteeing they’ll have the superior Morris twin no matter which one it turns out to be. They tried this strategy in 2006 as well, before realizing that James and Jumaine Jones weren’t actually related.

We are curious to learn how the Suns will label their jerseys. “M. MORRIS” won’t work, and even “MAR. MORRIS” is still confusing. Could they go with MARKIEFF and MARCUS, like they were Brazilian soccer players? They could also switch jerseys at the half if Markieff gets into early foul trouble - who’s going to question it?

Worst-case scenario, the Suns take a flyer on a lottery pick and get a cheap frontcourt backup for a few years, while Mark Zuckerberg steals the twins’ website idea. Best-case is that the NBA allows them to play as a duo, riding on each other’s shoulders Master Blaster-style, and the 11 1/2 foot, 560-pound Cuskieff Morris dominates the paint, despite his limited mobility. The Suns make a deep playoff run, and Coors Light finally updates their TWINS! commercial.

This is a picture of my beautiful little sister Brooke. She is 10 years old and currently in 5th grade. Everyday my little sister comes home from school crying or upset. She has been begging to switch schools for about two years now. Why? There is a girl in the grade below her and a girl in the grade above her who are best friends. These two girls pick on my sister almost everyday. They call her names, push her around, and make her feel worthless. As a result of the bullying my sisters personality has changed quite a bit. She is no longer the funny, happy, bubbly little girl she was. She is sad, self-conscious and miserable. My sister often calls herself ugly, and pokes at her stomach complaining she is “too fat”. She often cries over her looks and rarely lets people take photo’s of her because she thinks she is “too ugly”. No matter how much me or my family re-assures her of how beautiful she is and tells her she is not fat she doesn’t believe it. My TEN YEAR OLD baby sister sometimes even says she wants to DIE. 

I AM SICK AND FUCKING TIRED OF PEOPLE SAYING BULLYING DOESN’T AFFECT PEOPLE. I AM FUCKING TIRED OF PEOPLE SAYING WORDS DO NOT HURT. WORDS HURT A FUCKING LOT. HOW MANY KIDS HAVE TO COMMIT SUICIDE OR BE PUT IN COUNSELING BEFORE THIS IS REALIZED. MY BABY SISTER IS BEAUTIFUL BUT BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE’S “WORDS” MY SISTER HATES HERSELF. 

So please tell me again, how do words not hurt?

The worst thing you can do to a person is put them down, pick on their flaws and torment them constantly. What you say DOES affect people, it DOES hurt them, and it DOESN’T get forgotten. What you say to people now can affect them the rest of their lives. So please, for me, for my sister, and for everyone else in the world, WATCH WHAT YOU SAY.
